The SDZ-280 is the last and most powerful engine from the DEUTZ range. This is a 6 cylinder engine turbocharged and intercooler with mechanical injection. It has been assembled on a DEUTZ engine block which performs 272 hp at 2.300 rpm. This is a high performance engine for commercial boats which demand an engine able to work on continuous service. Its profile makes it perfect for semi-displacement and displacement boats such as; fishing boats, passenger boats, tug boats, catamarans, trawler boats. The 6 cylinders provides a very smoothly navigation free of vibrations but at the same time, is delivering a high torque at low rpm, with the lowest fuel consumption. As a mechanical engine, it has a very simple maintenance and great reliability. It has configurations available to satisfy the most demanding needs, as well as IMO MARPOL TIER II.
