This time, the repowering has been carried out in a small fishing boat in the Gulf of Cadiz, and was carried out by Talleres Hermanos Fornell service. The model chosen for the installation was the Solé SDZ-280. The fishing boat is made of polyester and the engine has a dry type exhaust.
The SDZ-280 is mounted on a DEUTZ 6-cylinder engine block with turbocharger, intercooler and mechanical injection, and works at a power of 272 hp at 2300 rpm. It is a high power engine ideal for commercial vessels with a need for continuous service, its characteristics are focused on covering the most important needs of boats such as fishing boats, trawlers or passenger boats. It is easy to maintain and has several configurations to meet the most demanding needs.
