Service Álvarez Riveira

Álvarez Riveira, the official Solé distributor in Galicia and responsible for this commissioning, relied on Solé marine generators and their accessories to carry out a complete installation in this newly rescue vessel, built by Auxiliar Naval del principado from Astilleros Armon. The gensets used for this equipment were two marine generatos 35 GT installed in parallel system.

Parallel operation in marine generators consists of the synchronisation of two or more sets, coupled with the same frequency and voltage, in such a way that they work together to supply energy to the same network. The advantages of the parallel configuration are several, such as: higher efficiency, lower consumption, safer and more reliable operation and reduced maintenance requirements.

The 35 GT model is mounted on a Mitsubishi engine block that generates a three-phase power output of 28.0 kW - 35kVA and operates at 1500 rpm and 50 Hz. Ideal for boats with medium power requirements in confined spaces. It has a wide range of kits and accessories, and several of them have been included in this installation: Anti-siphon pack, start-up pack, water collector pack, professional filter kit and exhaust, cooling and fuel hoses.

We are very grateful to have been able to participate in this project to ensure safety at sea.
