Solé generators are present in all types of boats and are ideal for both recreational and commercial applications, with the highest performance requirements.
Proof of this is the project presented below, in which our technical team, represented by Roger and Camelia, assisted to offer support in the commissioning of this catamaran type vessel equipped with Solé.
This is the Arborame, a vessel acquired by the General Secretariat of Fisheries, to carry out research activities and scientific work of the Marine Reserves of Fishing Interest, all managed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food of the Government of Spain.
With base port in Adra (Almería, Spain) this rigid hulled cabin catamaran has high level finishes and has the latest technologies that allow it to offer great strength and durability. In this way, it can transport high tonnage loads.
In addition to its scientific purposes, the Arborame serves as a surveillance platform with drones and as a means of transport for crews among the marine reserves that the General Secretariat for Fisheries is responsible for.
Given the demanding needs of electric supply on board, to equip this large vessel was opted for the marine diesel generator Solé model 68 GT, with free-mass installation and all built-in peripheral systems such as the exhaust line with antisyphon, Exhaust manifold and gooseneck, seawater system, fuel system and as we mentioned above, adapted electrical installation with mass insulation.
Undoubtedly, a demanding boat with powerful, robust and reliable equipment.
