We present this beautiful project with the EcoSail catamaran, owned by the company Barcelona Naval Tours. Due to boat dimensions and energy requirements, two 14 GSC generator sets were installed, one located at port and the other at starboard. Its performance is hybrid, its engines alternate electric and diesel and along with the specially developed design of its sails, they form a boat that offers a navigation as sustainable as possible. This catamaran is intended for passenger transport and event rental, with a capacity of up to 250 people. It offers varied installations such as bars, conference and event areas and a dining room. The construction of this boat and the installation of the generator sets were carried out by Drassanes Dalmau, one of the shipyards with whom we work with.
